In April 2025, the United States released a tariff exemption list covering nearly a thousand products, which involves energy products, various minerals, chemicals used in energy and manufacturing industries, as well as metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper. The White House official website also released a product exemption list. If the "U.S. - made components" in goods originating from any country account for 20% or more of the total Ｄeclared value of the imported goods in customs declarations, no additional tariffs will be imposed on the "U.S. - made components", and only equivalent tariffs will be imposed on the "non - U.S. components". Exemption lists can simplify processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. They play a significant role in different fields and promote the more efficient and orderly development of various affairs.
