Hydrogenated nitrile rubber compound HNBR

As a popular material to replace PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), the binder of lithium battery cathode materials, HNBR can be used at temperatures between -40°C and 150°C, and can reach 180°C with some special formulations.

HNBR reinforced with ZnO/methacrylic acid (MAA) can be used to make V-belts, isotactic V-belts, bottom glue for multi-purpose V-rings, vibration isolators, etc.; it can also be used to prepare sealing rings, seals, heat-resistant tubes, etc. In oil drilling, rubber products are required to withstand the test of high temperature, high pressure, acid, amine, H2S, CO2, CH4 and other steam. And various products prepared by HNBR are resistant to acid, oil and solvent. HNBR reinforced with ZnO/MAA can be used to make drilling protection boxes and pistons for mud pumps. In addition, paper-type gaskets made of HNBR by beating method can be used as sealing gaskets in the petroleum industry and automobile industry.

The heat and radiation resistance of HNBR is better than that of silicone rubber, fluorine rubber, and polytetrachloroethylene. It is suitable for various rubber seals in power stations. It is also used as hydraulic pipes, hydraulic seals, and cable sheaths for power stations. It can also be used as printing and fabric rollers, weapon parts and aerospace seals, coverings, fuel bags, etc.; In addition, the comprehensive performance of HNBR reinforced with ZnO/MAA, peroxide and high wear-resistant furnace is better than that of ordinary HNBR.
